Meal Prep Tips

I lot of people think meal prepping is just for people on a diet. Not true. The main point of meal prep, in my humble opinion, is to save time. Spend 1 or 2 days figuring out what you want to eat, shopping, and cooking. Then you’re set for the week!


Top 3 Meal Prep Tips:

1. Brainstorm & make a list. Don’t walk into the store blind or you’ll walk out with a bunch of food and still no plan. Take the time to put some thought into what you want to eat that week.

2. Keep notes so you can develop a 4 week rotation. This is the best way to avoid that pesky feeling of eating the same thing OVER and OVER.

3.  Give yourself room in your meal prep to have a “cheat day.” There may be a meal you want to eat out on your day off from work or have something outside of your food line up. Plan ahead and leave yourself a little wiggle room. 🙂
